New Zealand provides for a Residential Care Subsidy (RCS) for those that are eligible. Eligibility criteria and the application process is determined by WINZ. This process should be commenced as quickly as possible, as they impose backdated time limitations click on this link or on the link at the bottom of the page.

If residents are eligible for a RCS, NZ Super will be a part of that RCS and WINZ will redirect your NZ Super to Aroha.

Private Residential Care fees

The daily fee is set by the Director-General of Health annually on the 1st July. For more information on Ministry Board rates click on this link or the link at the bottom of the page.

Aroha charges its care fees monthly in advance.
